Steven Fleming Memorial 4-H Scholarship

The Steven Fleming Memorial 4-H Scholarship was established to honor the former City of Gainesville police chief who died while on duty in 2013. Growing up he participated in both 4-H and FFA activities receiving the highest awards in each (4-H Gold Star Award and the FFA Lonestar Award). The recipient must be an active member of the 4-H program and must maintain the minimum college 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Preference will be given to a graduating senior from Cooke County. If not available, then a graduating senior from the college’s service area.
