Emily Beal Scholarship

Eligibility for the JENNIFER BEAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND is based upon the following criteria: Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

B. Selection of scholarship recipients will be based upon the recommendations of the NCTC Scholarship Committee which will solicit applications for the award.

C. The formal application will include (1) an application which includes a personal statement; (2) a high school and/or college transcript.

D. Written applications will be reviewed by the NCTC Scholarship Committee consisting of faculty, staff, and Foundation Board Member.

E. Students must maintain the minimum college cumulative grade point average in order to maintain good academic standing at the college.

F. Preference will be given to applicants who:

A. Are working hard to complete their classes in addition to their family/life obligations therefore they might not be a straight A student.

B. Recipients are not Pell eligible however they do not have the means to cover the cost of their education.
