The Vernon L. & Naomi Austin Scholarship

Through the generous gift from the estate of Vernon and Naomi Austin, the Vernon L. and Naomi Austin Scholarship was established to continue their legacy of working to help others. Both Vernon and Naomi were educators in the Gainesville Independent School District for many years. To be eligible an applicant must be a graduating high school senior in Cooke County, Texas, and must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.
