William R "Bill" King, Sr. Scholarship

The William R. “Bill” King, Sr. Scholarship was established for full or part-time students who maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Preference will be given to applicants who are residents of Cooke, Denton, and Montague counties, majoring in Journalism or English, and demonstrate a financial need. If there is not a deserving Journalism or English major, then the scholarship can be awarded to someone majoring in a different field.
