The Montague County Property Owners Association
The Montague County Property Owners Association has created a scholarship to assist a student pursuing an Associates Degree in Farm and Ranch Management at North Central Texas College. The scholarship will be paid to the North Central Texas College and will be applied to tuition for the Fall 2016 semester. Please email kcarroll@nctc.edu or themcpoa@gmail.com for the application.
Eligibility
• Completing senior year at a high school in Bowie, Forestburg, Goldberg, Montague, Nocona, Prairie Valley or Saint Jo or a college
student intending to continue studies at North Central Texas College; home-schooled students are also invited to apply
• Pursuing an Associates Degree in Farm and Ranch Management
• Planning to attend North Central Texas College for Fall 2016 semester
• Provide a complete Application Form
• Submit a signed Letter of Recommendation from 1 teacher and 2 non-relatives who are familiar with your goals, aptitude, and character
• Provide official transcript from your current school’s registrar
• Write a minimum 500-word essay (What is Your Vision of the Future of Agriculture and What is Your Role in it?)
• The Requirements (Application Form, Transcript, three Letters of Recommendation, and Essay) must be received by MCPOA on or before the deadline
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
