Central Infusion Alliance Scholarship

NOW ACCEPTING 2018 SUBMISSIONS: Submit your application now for the yearly $1,000 scholarship. Tell a story of how a healthcare worker has made a difference in your life or the life of someone near & dear to your heart. This person does not have to be a direct family member, but must be factually-based, and meaningful to you personally.

The winning submission will be chosen based on several factors, including succinctness, word choice, flow, and the ability to tell an engaging story. This is not a grammar competition, nor a creative writing challenge. The yearly scholarship is an opportunity to share a karmic thread of positivity regarding healthcare workers who have dedicated their lives to the service of others.

The rules are simple:

-Maximum one submission per person
-You must be willing to have your story published in our blog
-Profanity is allowed, but may be redacted if selected for publishing
-Length must be greater than 1,000 and less than 3,000 words
-Submission must be processed on or before June 1, 2018
-Submissions processed after June 1, 2018 will apply to the 2018 scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded yearly to one student who is a legal resident of the United States (or holding a valid student visa), enrolled in a two or four-year U.S. based college. The winner will be contacted on or before July 1, 2018 by phone and/or email.
