Sky Davis Memorial Equestrian Scholarship

Sky Lynn Davis was a 10 year old girl from Gainesville with an enthusiastic passion for Equine. When Sky passed away in June 2014, Pete and Susie Shauf wanted a way to share Sky’s legacy with people who shared her passion. They created the Sky Davis Memorial Equestrian Scholarship at NCTC to do just that. First preference is to award a NCTC student majoring in Equine Science. Second preference is to award a NCTC student majoring in agriculture or ag-related fields. Qualified applicants should also show financial need. Scholarships will be awarded to deserving equestrian students who share Sky’s burning desire to dedicate their lives to loving horses. A minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA must be maintained.
