Denton County Foundation Student Leadership Scholarship

The Denton County Foundation Student Leadership Scholarship will provide significant financial assistance to a student attending a Denton County Campus. Proceeds from the Foundation’s annual miniature golf tournament provide the funds for this scholarship. Preference will be given to students who exhibit a financial need. Preference will also be given to students who held leadership roles in their community and/or school activities and have strong recommendations from a faculty/teacher. Recipient must have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours at NCTC. Recipient must have two letters of recommendation – 1) from NCTC faculty/staff and 1) from outside reference such as employer, community organizations, etc. The scholarship recipient will be given the opportunity to give a presentation to the Foundation Board at their June meeting. A minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA must be maintained.
