Denton County Foundation Board

The Denton County Foundation Board Student Leadership Scholarship will provide significant financial assistance to a student attending the Corinth Campus. Proceeds from the Foundation’s annual miniature golf tournament provided the funds for this scholarship, which will provide $1,000 per semester ($2,000) for tuition, fees and books.

Must attend Denton county campus, Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in college, Financial need preference, Preference will also be given to students who held leadership roles in their community and/or school activities, Preference will be given to students who have strong recommendations from a faculty/teacher, Recipient must have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours at NCTC, Recipient must have two letters of recommendation – 1) from NCTC faculty/Staff and 1) from outside reference such as employer, community, organizations, etc, The scholarship recipient will be given the opportunity to give a presentation to the Foundation Board at their June meeting
