Ron & Mitzie Underwood Success Fund II

Ron and Mitzie Underwood established this fund to assist others in helping themselves to improve their quality of life. They hope to make a difference in these students’ lives. The scholarship is intended for any of the following criteria:

• Funds will be used to assist an NCTC student(s) to significantly impact their ability to get their education.
• Preference will be given to non-white students with a preference that they are from Gainesville ISD but are open to other schools if there is a student with a need.
• Funds can be used to award scholarship(s) to cover their tuition and fees, emergency funds to help cover their basic needs so they can stay in school, provide technology or books to help them in their coursework.

If there is an exceptional opportunity to help a student outside the above criteria the selection committee may exercise their judgment.
