JT Melia Scholarship

JT Melia Moving & Storage is pleased to announce the creation of the JT Melia Scholarship program, which will provide funding to one college student taking courses during the Fall semester. The JT Melia Scholarship Program gives college students a chance to fund their education while improving their writing or filmmaking skills. Applicants will also be providing valuable information to the public regarding the moving industry, helping people to make informed decisions and understand proper ethics associated with the industry.

Who is eligible?

Any high school or college student that intends on taking college courses during the Fall 2017 semester is eligible to apply. The award will be given directly to the student’s school.

Applications must include the following:

The applicant’s essay or video. Applicants may choose from one of three prompts, which include:
A 500-800 word essay that discusses how ethics are the cornerstone of a business
A 500-800 word essay that discusses how to choose a good moving company
A 2-5 minute video that humorously discusses how to move
An entry application
A recent photo of the applicant for promotional purposes should the applicant receive the scholarship
